MELBOURNE, 22 January 2021: ‘The White Tiger’, based on Aravind Adiga’s New York Times best-seller and Man Booker Prize-winning 2008 novel, will start streaming today on Netflix in Australia and other countries. The 2 hours and 05 minutes movie was yesterday released in cinema houses.
A taxi driver (Balram) tries to break the class mode to move ahead by joining as a driver for Ashok (Rajkummar Rao) and Pinky (Priyanka Chopra-Jonas), who have just returned from America. He uses his wit and cunning to escape poverty and become an entrepreneur.
