Two teens nabbed after attempted robbery in Box Hill

By our community reporter

Melbourne: Quick thinking by local police and some valuable assistance from an independent witness have led to the arrest of two Blackburn youths after two separate incidents including one where a victim was an Indian student in Box Hill last night (23 June).

A 15-year-old and a 17-year-old boy were arrested and have since been charged with attempted armed robbery, assault with attempt to rob and assault related offences. They have been bailed to appear at court at a later date, says Media Officer & Senior Constable Marty Beveridge.
