Melbourne: Terrorism charges against Brisbane based Indian doctor Md. Haneef have been dropped by the prosecution. Haneef was in custody for four weeks and the decision to drop the charges against him came after a review of the case.

Haneef’s lawyer has said that he should not be deported. His relative Imran Siddiqui said the family will fight to clear his name completely.
