Pune, Nov 29: Bollywood’s most beloved ‘Munna Bhai’ Sanjay Dutt was released from the Yerwada jail, Pune on Thursday after spending one month and eight days in prison. Dutt, who has had a love-hate relationship with the law for long, was finally granted bail by the Supreme Court on Tuesday in the infamous 1993 Mumbai blasts case. A tired looking Sanjay walked out along with his friend and co-accused Yusuf Nulwalla.

Unlike the last time he was released, Sanjay appeared careful this time around and did not wait to exchange pleasantries with the police personal and media.

From the jail he went straight to Pune’s Lohegaon airport and is expected to take a chartered flight back to Mumbai.

Earlier in the day Dutt’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde arrived from Mumbai with a copy of the bail order and had to spend around 30 minutes completing the formalities.
