Melbourne, Fri. 8 August 2008

Police have today resumed their search for nine-year-old Yadav Munohur, who
has been missing since 5:30 pm yesterday.Yadav had asked to go to the local park to play after dinner but became impatient and left his Glenferrie Road home.

His mother went after him and was informed by some local students that they
had seen a young boy heading towards the Gardiner’s Creek parkland.

His family searched the immediate area for approximately two hours before
contacting local police.

Local police, Airwing and Water Police members last night searched Gardiner’
s Creek and surrounding parkland for Yadav and have resumed their search of
the local area this morning.

Police are concerned for Yadav because he has not been in Australia long and
has limited English skills.
