POLICE are trying to establish the identity of a man hit and killed by a
train in Pakenham last Thursday.(14 Aug. 2008)

The man was hit by a train at Pakenham railway station about 9.15pm and there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.He was not identified at the scene and police have not been able to identify him through fingerprint checks.

He is described as between 20-30 years, olive complexion, approximately 170
cm’s, short dark hair and unshaven.He was wearing a blue windcheater with red stripes on the sleeves withValley Statesman RLFC printed on the front, a grey Nike t-shirt with white
trim, white runners and blue jeans.
