New Delhi: The Delhi Tourism & Transportation Development Corporation got a big boost with its top PR official getting India’s prestigious award.In recognition of his exceptional services as a communication specialist over the last two decades, Sudhir Sobti, Chief Manager (PR & Publicity), Delhi Tourism & Transportation Development Corporation, Government of Delhi, has been conferred the prestigious Hall of Fame award.

New Delhi: The award was given to him at the 11th Global Communication Conclave held last week in Bengaluru, Karnataka by the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), during its 11th Global Communication Conclave.

Getting inducted into the Hall of Fame is considered as the ultimate accolade for PR professionals. During his more than 25 years of service, Mr. Sobti has been a resolute and articulate PR and communications professional.

The PRCI is a national-level registered body of professionals in the field of Public Relations, Communications, Advertising and allied fields. It has a membership of over 2,000 and has over 26 Chapters across India plus one in Dubai as well. Plans are afoot to launch two new chapters overseas, one each in Sri Lanka and Melbourne.

The PRCI organizes a global conference every year where eminent professionals from India and overseas are invited to give talks and share their experiences. The theme of the conference this year was Disruption.

The organization also recognizes individuals and organizations in recognition of the efforts and contribution of Public Relation professionals in their respective fields. The Hall of Fame is the highest honor given to the PR person.
