MELBOURNE, 26 March: Australia and India are gearing up for their biggest ever naval war games to be held in the Bay of Bengal in April. The games will include warships, attack aircraft, warships and submarines, a report in India’s ‘The Economic Times’ says.

The report says, “Sources said that four Australian warships, including its largest HMAS Canberra — designed for amphibious operations — will take part and will be matched by an equal number of Indian frontline vessels, besides a Kilo class submarine. The war games will span over two weeks off the Vizag coast.”
