MELBOURNE, 25 February: The RMIT University held its biggest ‘Welcome Day’ event today when it welcomed Kaushaliya Vaghela MP, one of the most reputed and successful alumnae of RMIT, with Melissa Sweetland (Deputy Vice-Chancellor Engagement and Vice President of RMIT), Elise Bartlett (Executive Director Students, RMIT University) and many RMIT students.
Kaushaliya Vaghela MP was taken on a campus tour by the students of the South Asian community along with Lauren Goethals (Senior Business Partner, RMIT University) and Keiran Hargreaves (Asia Alumni Manager, RMIT University). The students were excited to meet the MP and learn about her journey and experiences at the RMIT. She visited various club desks acknowledging their great work of technology and community services, including one of the biggest clubs of RMIT Student Union, the RMIT Indian club and the Pakistani club.

The MP was also felicitated with new ideas of upcoming student clubs like RMIT Indian Student and Alumni Association and RMIT Women of Colour, to support the community grows better. The day ended on a wonderful note with the MP looking forward to discussing new ideas and experiences.
