MELBOURNE: Mr. Nirmal Singh Namdhari, Chairman of the Selandra Rise Australian Indian Community Group was recently awarded the Holt Australia Day Award by Minister For Small Business Hon. Adem Somyurek.
Mr. Nirmal Singh is a social worker and well connected to the community. He has in the past organized Diwali dinner and many other community events with the participation of hundreds of people. He is also well known for tireless efforts to prevent family violence.
