Melbourne: A man has been sentenced in the Ballarat Magistrates Court in Victoria to three months’ jail for attacking an Indian taxi driver in the early hours of this morning, reports ABC.

Paul Brogden, 48, of Navigators near Ballarat, pleaded guilty to charges of making threats to kill, unlawful assault and criminal damage. Brodgen verbally abused and then assaulted the 24-year-old driver at a service station shortly before 2:00am (AEDT).
Magistrate Michelle Hodgson sentenced him to three months’ jail for each charge, to be served concurrently.He has also been ordered to pay more than $1,500 compensation to the victim.
