Melbourne, 30 March: The Indian spiritual and humanitarian leader known as ‘Amma’, will be visiting Australia for a series of free public programs in early April.
Known throughout the world as ‘the Hugging Saint’, Amma imparts her spiritual blessing by individually meeting and embracing all who come to see her. It is estimated that she has hugged in excess of 29 million people around the globe over the last 28 years.
An Australian visit organizer, Julie Cairns said today “Amma’s visit provides a unique opportunity to meet a truly remarkable, inspiring human being. She has dedicated her life to serving humanity on a grand scale and through superhuman effort, the lives of millions of people around the world have changed for the better.”
Amma will hold a number of free public meetings in Melbourne (April 6,7 & 10), Sydney (April 12-13), Brisbane(April 1) and the Gold Coast (April 4) during her Australian visit. For all information about Amma’s visit check www.ammaaustralia.org.au.
