Melbourne, 15 November: An Indian in his thirties who did not want to be identified was attacked by three youngsters (one boy and two girls) today at the Blackburn station at around 9.45 pm. The victim said he was entering the station to catch a train to the city when he was attacked. His turban fell down and subsequently had a headache. Cops were apparently called by passersby and station employees. According to an eyewitness the cops came thirty minutes after the incident was reported to them. Station employees locked one of the attacker in a bus which he had boarded till police came, but were reluctant to give any statement and said they had not seen the incident happening.
The victim was bodily unharmed but felt traumatised and said cops had talked to him and taken his statement.
