Melbourne: A 22-year-old Yarraville Indian man was assaulted at the bus station outside the Epping station (on Sunday 25th October) by two youths believed to be teenagers. The assaulted man was asleep at the bus stop and was assaulted after the youths exited from a bus. Tthe man was punched several times and his turban removed, says Sergeant Carla Coslovich in a media release.
The bus driver and a passenger tried to stop the assault. The victim sustained injury to his mouth but did not need hospitalisation.
