Man arrested over Springvale sexual assault

Melbourne: A Springvale man Harjot Singh has been arrested by police over an alleged sexual assault and abduction in St. James Avenue, Springvale on June 18. The arrest was made on Saturday (June 27) at the Melbourne Airport at 2 am, a police media release says. He appeared before an out of sessions court facing charges of abduction, rape, threats to kill, stalking and numerous assaults. He has been remanded to police custody.
