Melbourne: In a bid to address concerns over recent attacks on Indian students, the government of India is planning to send a special emissary to Australia to infuse confidence among families whose children are studying there.
One of the name (unconfirmed) who could be the emissary is Mr Shashi Tharoor, a former UN diplomat turned politician, whom is now the Minister of State in the External Affairs Ministry. Mr. Tharoor, who is live on Twitter through the internet, was elected to the Lok Sabha on a Congress ticket from Kerala.
