The film is an adaptation of Sachin Kundalkar’s own 2006 Marathi novel of the same name. ‘Cobalt Blue’ centers on a captivating drama that follows an unconventional narrative. Based on a best-selling novel, the film tells the story of a brother and sister who fall in love with the same man and how their family is shattered by the ensuing events. Set in the early 90s, the film explores the various shades of relationship and love.
Cobalt Blue stars Prateik Babbar along with Neelay Mehendale and Anjali Sivaraman in lead roles. This story brings out the pain and the beauty of forbidden love, and how a Marathi family is shattered by the ensuing events. The film is directed and written by Sachin Kundalkar. Releasing on 2 April 2022.
