17 Labor MPs write to Penny Wong for Palestine recognition

MELBOURNE, 14 May 2024: Seventeen Labor MPs from ACT, NSW, Victoria, NT, Queensland, SA, and others have written to Australian Foreign Minister, Penny Wong, to cooperate with other UN members to recognise sovereign Palestine.

The letter written under the banner of ‘National Labor Friends of Palestine’, welcomes the decision of the Australian Government to vote affirmatively in the UN General Assembly resolution recommending the UN Security Council recognise Palestine as a full UN member.
