Former Adani executive Raj Guruswamy is One Nations’s Senate candidate from Queensland

BRISBANE, April 13: Muthuraj ‘Raj’ Guruswamy, a 56-year-old India-born mechanical engineer and former Adani executive in Queensland is Pauline Hanson’s One Nation’s second spot candidate in the Senate. She announced the names of Muthuraj ‘Raj’ Guruswamy and the retiring Member for Dawson, George Christensen, who will join One Nation on the party’s senate ticket for Queensland.

Raj played a key role in establishing Adani’s operations in Queensland and also played a key role in establishing Australian logistics company Linfox in India and south-east Asia. Since 2021 he is Managing Director at APAC, Biowin ( a Neuro Tech co.,), his Linkedin account says.

Senator Pauline Hanson said, “Raj is an expert with a great deal of experience in the transport and resource industries in Australia and overseas, and in dealing with government bureaucracies and red tape,” Senator Hanson said. “He will be an invaluable addition to our Senate team.

“One Nation’s membership has grown exponentially over the past two years and with their support, our party is fielding candidates for all 151 seats in the House of Representatives at this election.

“We will continue to put Australia and Australians first by advocating for immigration to be reduced to sustainable levels, ensuring foreign-owned multinationals operating in Australia pay their fair share of tax, and reforming Australia’s family law and child support systems.

Interestingly, Pauline Hanson in her maiden speech in Parliament in 1996, said the country was in danger of being “swamped by Asians”.
