Matthew Guy: We see multicultural communities as part of our future

MELBOURNE, 26 September 2022: The Leader of Opposition Matthew Guy MP today strongly batted for multiculturalism as an article of faith, saying it was not a political tool but multicultural communities were part of our future. He also said he would revive the trade missions to India, China, and Indonesia if voted to power in the November state elections. Matthew was addressing a select gathering of bilateral business chamber leaders at the Windsor Hotel today.

The gathering was also addressed by David Davis MP, Shadow Treasurer, who said the Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC) was too close to the government and it should be independent. He promised to deeply engage with different chambers of commerce to enhance business and trade.
