MELBOURNE, 8 May 2023: The Mental Health Foundation of Australia (MHFA) has a new logo. The new logo was recently launched with fanfare. Designed by Berly Nguyen, one of the thousands who participated from different schools, the powerful logo has been well received and appreciated.
The MHFA website describes the new logo as two people shaking hands resembling support, diversity and inclusiveness. H is for health, M is for mental health and the upper part of the logo symbolises smile and hope.
The blue colour, the site says, is associated with calmness, tranquility, and relaxation, promoting peace, stability, and reducing stress and anxiety. And, the yellow colour is linked to happiness, optimism, and energy, promoting joy, cheerfulness, and increasing motivation.
“We would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to Berly Nguyen, who assisted the Mental Health Foundation Australia in creating the new look.
