Scott Morrison joins India’s BLS International,providing visa services

MELBOURNE, 1 July, 2026: Former Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has joined the BLS International as Global Strategic Advisor, specialising in worldwide visa and citizenship services, for its operations in Australia, 7 news reports. The appointment comes amid the controversy over excess immigration into Australia and the One Nation leader Pauline Hanson saying ‘multiculturalism’ not suited for Australia.

What role the BLS International takes for India in Australia remains to be seen, as reports of some VFS Global (handling Indian visa services) outlets  temporarily pausing services from July 1, 2026.

In a media statement posted on its website, the company says, ” BLS International Services ltd, a leading AI & Tech enabled global Gov-Tech and citizen services partner for governments announces the appointment of Honorable Scott Morrison, former Australian Prime Minister, as its Global Strategic Advisor.
