Victoria Elections : Labour shows muscle in multicultural communities

DANDENONG (MELBOURNE), 25 September 2022: The media might have given a third term to Daniel Andrews, but Labor is not showing laying down in its bid for power in Victoria’s November elections. This was evident today evening at the VTCC Palmyra Hall, where around three hundred fifty-plus people from diverse multicultural communities, the true believers, gathered for the official launch of the 2022 South-East Labor election campaign. No doubt, it was Labour’s political muscle on display.

He emphasized the critical importance of the November elections and said “if you stick with me, my team and I will not let you down.”

The Premier expressed his deep commitment to the people. He said, My focus is on building a new life, celebrating and sharing culture. We will celebrate multiculturalism. We should be alert to some who do not share our views and if necessary you have to fight for it.

The massively attended diverse and colorful laced with cultural items event was hosted by Lee Tarlamis MP, Gabrielle Williama MP and the special guests were Premier Daniel Andrews and Andrew Giles MP. Also attending were Julian Hill MP, Sonya Kilkenny MP, Pauline Richards MP, Paul Edbrooke MP, Gary Maas MP, Tim Richardson MP, Meng Heang Tak MP, Belinda Wilson, candidate for Narre Warren North, Malik Zaveer, State candidate for Berwick, Mannie Kaur Verma, candidate for Rowville, Tien Kieu MP, Michael Galea, candidate for South Eastern Metropolitan Region.
