VMC showcases clout for potential sponsors at special event

MELBOURNE, 27 February, 2025: The Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC) today organised a special program at the Investment Centre Victoria, to attract sponsors for its year long events and happenings. The top brass of the VMC and the Victorian Minister for Multicultural Affairs, Ingrid Stitt MP were there along with prominent community leaders and influencers from various multicultural communities.

In here address, Minister Stitt described the VMC’s important work with multicultural communities and it’s power of  partnership to promote community harmony in Victoria (excerpts from address in the video above).  VMC Chairperson, Viv Nguyen, detailed along with moving visuals the VMC’s past record and upcoming programs in 2025.

Mesmerizing music by QiQi Lu, Guzheng & Double Bass performing artist and energetic Egyptian belly dancing by the Jalwa Dance Company added to the multicultural ambience of the event.

A Sponsor Q-A session chaired by Deputy Chairperson, Bwe Thay, was joined by esteemed panellists which gave lots of information about the VMC events and benefits for potential sponsors.

The VMC 2025 Sponsorship Prospectus distributed at the function had sponsorship tiers and annual benefits information. It says – Our partners either support all of VMC;s initiatives or specific programs/events and the indicative amounts which are ex GST.  They are as follows:

Platinum Partner – $ 75,000, Gold Partner $ 50,000, Silver Partner $ 30,000, Event Partner $ 25,000, Program Partner $ 15,000, and Community Partner $ 10,000. All annual investments, says the VMC 2025 Sponsorship Prospectus.

VMC’s flagship programs include, Cultural Diversity Week, Victorian Multicultural Festival, Multicultural Film festival, Victorian Multicultural Gala Dinner, End Year Event and the Victorian Multicultural Awards for Excellence.
