Mumbai Calling rocks’Fine Food Australia’ with instant chai (tea)

 

MELBOURNE, 2 September, 2026: Indian-promoted Melbourne-based Australian company Mumbai Calling emerged visibly successful with its instant chai (tea)  that included many flavours including masala, ginger, cardamom, rose petal, turmeric… and also supplies the needed vending machine for the chai. The products are Australian owned and produced in Melbourne.

Fine Food Australia is the country’s largest trade-only exhibition for the foodservice, hospitality and retail industries, held annually and alternating between Sydney and Melbourne. The 2026 edition ran from Monday 31 August to Thursday 3 September at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) in South Wharf.

A B2B trade show connecting chefs, venue operators, buyers, procurement managers, distributors and retailers with 900+ exhibitors from 50 countries showcasing thousands of products across food, beverages, bakery, dairy, meat and seafood, equipment, packaging and technology.

Twenty-two Indian companies participated in the Fine Food Australia and were backed by the Indian government’s Agricultural and Possessed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA).
