MELBOURNE, 16 October, 2024: Melbourne has been gearing up for the festive season, and Diwali has prominently taken root in the cultural calendar here. Community Response’s pre-Diwali bash, at the excellent Rosebank North, Ringwood, was no exception.
Sunny Duggal, Anju Duggal and his team laid out a red carpet for invitees, as they entered a place that is a combination of nature and hospitality. In a typical Indian oriented multicultural ambience, Rosebank North glittered with lights laced with its garden and restaurant settings.
This event was hosted in honour of India’s Consul General, Dr. Sushil Kumar and the Consulate staff, who have been serving the Indian and other communities with great ability and commitment.
Victoria’s capital, Melbourne is no stranger to parties, but this one was exceptionally entertaining with Bollywood dances, speeches, networking and reverence for the festival of lights.
The array of community influencers present and being part of this festive bash, was reflective of the rising clout of the Indian community in Victoria. Families were there and so were well known community activists, those from the Indian Consulate and the Victorian Multicultural Commission.
The event organised by Community Response was backed by ACE Business Solutions, Peninsula Hot Springs, Aggarwal Immigration, Floor Solutions, Envision Health Care, Aussizz Group, Foot Solutions, Raja Sweets, India at Home, DJ Ash, Platinum Developers, Cam Studio, among others and many individuals.
The evening was full of entertainment, food and sweets as the atmosphere of the festive season made people enjoy the evening.
