MELBOURNE, 31 October 2022: Diwali celebrations are continuing with enthusiasm and Diwali Dhamaka 2022 at the Grand Receptions, Cathies Lane was no exception. A riot of people wearing Indian-style ethnic dresses laced with a riot of music, Dhol, spot prizes, and networking stood out as an excellent celebration of a Diwali event organized by Shilpi Mehta, Mandeep Bindra, and Gurieen Marwaha. The excellent colorfully lighted and decorated venue glittered in the festive ambiance. As the guests arrived the celebration lighted up the place amid Bollywood music and the beats of Dhol. The Bhangra item was a big hit.
Spot prizes and raffle prizes were the attraction of the evening. A bit of drizzle outside did not stop guests from coming to the event. The lamp lighting was done by SAT Editor, Neeraj Nanda, and the lucky raffle winners were selected by Manpreet and Preeti from the SBS. The winners came to get their prizes dancing. Later couples were busy with floor dancing to Bollywood and Punjabi songs. No doubt, the organizers were successful in making people celebrate with lots of fun.
While the sparkle and glitter of festivities at the event excelled, no doubt, the food added to the taste buds. The dessert – Kulfi and Dal ka halva were a perfect wrapup of the evening. The platinum sponsors of the event were DXC Technology, Singh Homes, and SS Accounting.
