Essendon Football Club promotes India Footy

MELBOURNE, 25 November: The Essendon Football Club, an Australian Footy club is all set to promote Footy (Australian rules football) in India and the Indian community here. Preparations are on for the AFL Indian National Championship in January 2018 and a fundraiser was organized to help 200 underprivileged Footy players in India to participate in the 2018 tournament.

A large number of Essendon players were present who also addressed the gathering along with Sudip Chakraborty, AFL & EFC community officer, Essendon Football Club. A large number of community leaders and activists were also present. Local emerging players were given prizes and announcement regarding local Footy clubs also made.
