MELBOURNE, 9 June, 2023: It was a day of fun and yoga for kids at the Australian Indian Community Centre (AICC), Rowville. Organised by the Federation of Indian Associations of Victoria (FIAV), the Rajasthani Kutumb of Victoria and supported by the Indian Consulate, the evening today saw children performing yoga postures with instructor Sonal Agrawal. The kids in the age group  4-14 years came with their parents and armed with yoga mats.

The boys and girls took interest in the event and performed well. One could see them perform as the instructor performed. They were surrounded by parents who sat on chairs around in the large room. The Chief Guest of the function was India’s Consul General Dr. Sushil Kumar, who was impressed by the kids doing yoga aptly. Later he and the parents posed for photographs amid the fun-filled event. Vegetarian dinner consisting of Rajma-Chawal and Kheer wrapped up the lively program as the families present enjoyed the evening. The organisers team led by FIAV President Sury Soni did a commendable job.
