MELBOURNE, 8 May 2022: The Goan Food Festival was today held with all the different food varieties like Rice, seafood, coconut, vegetables, meat, bread, pork, and local spices some of the main ingredients in Goan cuisine. Goa on India’s west coast touching the Arabian Sea has its cuisine which is a mix of local and Portuguese influences. The festival had many stalls catering to different Goan food. Music was played on the stage and there were many singers.
It was a day of fun, food, music, and networking. Though it was a food festival, it had the cultural ambiance of Goa. The organizers did a good job with the arrangements. The taste of Goa in Melbourne could be easily felt.
