JatJagat celebrates Diwali

MELBOURNE, 13 October, 2024: The JatJagat community organisation celebrated its annual Diwali function today at the Priya Indian restaurant in Point Cook. The lavish Diwali lunch event was attended by lot of happy faces who had come over from across Melbourne to celebrate the Indian festival of Diwali. The attendees were dressed up in traditional colourful Indian dresses and the festive atmosphere and celebration went on in full swing for the festival of lights.

Jatjagat is one of the oldest Indian community organisation here and was established in the early 1990’s by some Indian Jat families who worked as founder members and today its has more than 170 strong families and they keep increasing.

It was a lively program with lots of networking and enjoying Diwali.
