Manjit Singh of Sant Nirankari Mission gets Red Cross Influencer Award

MELBOURNE,15 February: Manjit Singh has been honored with the Australian Red Cross Blood Service Red25 Victorian Influencer Award today at a ceremony held in the Melbourne CBD for his ongoing efforts as a Group Coordinator in Australian branch of Sant Nirankari Mission (SNM).

Manjit has demonstrated a strong commitment to spreading ‘the Red25 Group Donation movement’ engaging people and increasing donations within their community group through creative and innovative strategies.
• Developed an innovative way to promote Red25 and blood donation within their organization or community group
• Regular promotional activity that has seen an increase in new donors and/or donations
• Use of social media to share challenge and blood donation participation.

Manjit has been playing a big effort to coordinate the Sant Nirankari Mission’s blood donation drives with the Red Cross for the last 10 years.Others involved include D.K.Tuli and Sunny Duggal.

The Mission is a leading organization in the field of voluntary Blood Donation in India and abroad. The Mission is running 4 hospitals and 134 dispensaries on the charitable basis in India. His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji started the voluntary blood donation movement in 1986 as a tribute to uphold ideals of truth, peace, tolerance, and non-violence. Thus spoke Baba Ji “Human blood should flow in veins, and not in drains”.
