MELBOURNE, 16 March, 2025: A new Hindu temple, Vasudeva Kriya Yoga Temple (VKY Mandir), is planned to be setup to serve the ‘Australian community, promoting health, wellbeing, and unity’.

Prominent Yoga teacher and expert, Vasudevakriyayoga Rajendra addressed the gathering among others. He said the proposed VKY Mandir, will take steps for the physical, mental and spiritual health of the community. “it will not be a medical centre, but a wellness centre for preventive self care,” he said.

Many items including yoga mat, exclusive chocolates and a painting were auctioned to raise funds for the temple. With the aim to bring together ‘like-minded people’, donations have been urged from the community.
