MELBOURNE, 10 January 2022: A Hindi Kavi Sammelan (poetry recitation event) was organized on 10 January 2022 online through Skype to mark World Hindi Day 2022 in Australia. The organizers were the Indian High Commission, Canberra, and Hindi Samaj, Canberra. Over 100 Hindi lovers and poets participated from all over Australia. Some also joined from India. The event lasted more than two hours with all sorts of Hindi poetry (hear in the video above).
India’s High Commissioner to Australia HE Mr. Manpreet Vohra was among those who attended the event. He appreciated the holding of the event.
