MELBOURNE, 31 MAY 2022: The 2022/23 international fixture has landed and it’s set to be a huge summer of cricket. For the first time ever, Australia will host six countries in one massive season. Zimbabwe, New Zealand, the West Indies, England, South Africa, and Pakistan.
The Aussie Men’s Team will kick start the summer in Queensland, warming up (literally) for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup with some white ball action in the Dettol ODI and T20I series against Zimbabwe, New Zealand, the West Indies, and England.
Following the World Cup, a handful of ODIs against the English Men’s Team serve as appetisers to the Vodafone Men’s Test series against the West Indies and South Africa. This series will mark the eagerly anticipated return of Test cricket to Perth.
Three ODIs against South Africa complete the men’s international season, but this summer of cricket is far from over. After a big season on the road with the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup and Commonwealth Games, the Australian Women’s Team will close out the summer with the Commonwealth Bank Women’s International series against Pakistan.
