The book was launched today at the Monash Medical Centre, with prominent radio broadcaster Jon Faine in conversation with her with the large presence of academics, medical professionals and community leaders. Dr. Ranjana Srivastava, oncologist and author well known as a Fulbright Scholar and for her Guardian Australia column on medical related writing, a rare combination laced with human interest ambience.
She wants to continue writing and in Every Word Matters… , she is at ease with words that inform and heal. The challenges of the written word laced with her experience is reflected in her book. In the first chapter she says, ” I have always regarded writing as my personal passion, a creative endeavour I have pursued for the sheer joy of   tinkering with words. Writing is my happy place.”
It was a sheer joy to see so many people take interest in subjects, I call rare. And here, Dr. Ranjana Srivastava vocally expressed her views on her inspirations and zeal for writing, encouraging others to do the same.
