MELBOURNE, 24 December 2021: ‘Jersy’ is the story of a talented but failed cricketer who decides to return to cricket in his late thirties driven by the desire to represent the Indian cricket team and fulfill his son’s wish for a jersey as a gift. The movie is releasing on 30 December 2021. It is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and stars Shahid Kapoor as the former cricketer, alongside Mrunal Thakur, Rohit Kamra, Geetika Mehandru, and Pankaj Kapoor. The movie is based on the 2019 Telugu sports drama starring Nani in the lead role.
The movie is distributed by Mind Blowing Films in Australia. Running time is 170 minutes.
