The movie from Universal Pictures, is scheduled to be released on April 5, 2024. Netflix has the global rights , reportedly having paid around $30 million. The movie, a thriller, is Dev Patel’s directorial debut, having also written its script with Paul Angunawela and John Collee.
In the movie, says Deadline, “…the movie will see Oscar-nominee Patel play an unlikely hero who emerges from prison to take on a world enmeshed in corporate greed and eroding spiritual values, and seeking revenge from those who took everything from him years before.”
