“In a world increasingly driven by data, algorithms, and efficiency, the arts and cinema offer a counterbalance—a space for introspection, reflection, and human connection. They remind us of the importance of nuance, imagination, and the subjective experience.
The theme for this year’s festival, Identity, pushes us to think beyond the technological advancements happening around us, and look inward – to where we truly come from, what we stand for, and how we choose to live our lives, said Mitu Bhowmick Lange in her festival message.
The media conference in the morning, and the awards night had all the star power, experience power, talent power and content power. The presence of this rather talented potpourri from the world’s most populated country spoke for itself.
The young and emerging Kartik Aryan, Karan Johar, with 25 years experience laced with seven directorial box office successes, director Anurag Kashyap, famous for the Gangs of Wasseypur and now Kennedy, Rani Mukerji who has stormed the world with Mrs Chatterjee and Norway, the talented Telugu Sita Raman team and many more spiced up the four hours long awards night.
