MELBOURNE: Netflix dropped the trailer for Kartavya, a crime drama starring Saif Ali Khan as Pawan, a police officer caught in a moral crisis after a journalist is killed under his protection.
Plot: Facing heat from his superiors, Pawan hunts the killer and gets pulled into a web of power and deception. Meanwhile, his family faces threats over his brother’s dispute, forcing him to choose between duty and family.Theme: The film explores moral grey areas with the tagline “Dharam karte hai, karam choothta hai, karam karte hai dharam choothta hai” – do your duty, lose your karma; do your karma, lose your duty.
