MIFF 2025 : South Asian films

The Girls (Sri Lanka, Sinhala)

MELBOURNE,July,2025: South Asia has India’s largest film industry in the world, but there are not many movies in the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) 2025, from this region. A glance at the countrywise movies at the MIFF website revealed one movie from Afghanistan, one movie from Bangladesh, 3 movies from India, one from Nepal and one from Sri Lanka.
