Mumbai, 5 August 2026 — Yash Raj Films (YRF) has released the first original track from its newly launched record label, Raah Records. Titled Jaadugari, the song is written and performed by emerging singer-songwriter Aman and is now available across all major audio streaming platforms.
A song about love, loss and late realisation
Jaadugari explores the quiet heartbreak of taking a partner’s love for granted until it slips away. Told from the perspective of someone who recognises the distance too late, the track reflects on unspoken conversations, unexpressed gratitude and the everyday moments that define a relationship.
The title itself—Jaadugari (magic)—refers to the “magic” of a partner’s love that the protagonist only truly understands after losing it.
Music video and creative team
The music video, starring Aman alongside actor Shivangi Negi, unfolds through intimate, nostalgic scenes that trace the couple’s happiest memories before revealing the emotional distance that grows between them. The visual, directed by Mohit Kapil and shot by Jeryn James, leans into close, personal moments to mirror the song’s introspective mood.
Aman’s journey with Raah Records
Jaadugari marks the start of Aman’s formal association with Raah Records after nearly a year in the label’s artist incubator, where he worked on songwriting, sound and artistic identity. The release is positioned as the first step in a long-term creative partnership, aligning with Raah’s focus on nurturing original voices rather than one-off singles.
Aman said the song comes from “a very honest place”, describing relationships where you sense someone slipping away but keep hoping things will return to how they were. “I hope this song is a reminder to hold on tightly to the people you love and to never take their love for granted,” he added.
Earlier this year, his breakout single Roya Tha amassed close to five million streams on Spotify, peaked at #13 on Spotify India’s Viral Chart and inspired more than 19,000 Instagram Reels, establishing him as one of India’s most promising independent singer-songwriters.
