Rahman) ‘Roja Jaaneman’, mesmerising the audience.

Hariharan entered the world of Tamil movies in 1992 introduced by debutant music director A. R. Rahaman with the patriotic song “Thamizha Thamizha” in Maniratnam’s Roja. Hariharan did not disappoint the non-Hindi speakers. He sang many Tamil songs equally enjoyed by those present.

The two and half hours concert saw the so many awards winning Hariharan singing every type of song in his from his career which spans for years. The best was he connecting with his fans. He also made them  sing as he dished out one after another of his songs. At times the audience danced as Hariharan charmed them from the colourful and musical stage. Many who saw the concert included the Melbourne Indian Consul General Mr. Sushil Kumar and his family, community leaders and influencers.

The message of the concert was the power of music to unite diverse linguistic trends that make India and Indian music so vibrant, entertaining and legendary. Hariharan’s concert here by the Star Promotions & India News from Brisbane was a feather in the cap of multicultural India and Australia.
