PREVIEW: ‘Hollywoodgate’ reveals the Taliban’s American bonanza

When the US and allied forces hastily left (or abandoned) Afghanistan after 20 years and the Taliban took power in Afghanistan, they left $ 7.12 billion worth of military and other equipment at an airbase near Kabul called  – ‘Hollywoodgate’, said to be an CIA base.  The much of the high-tech equipment was now in the hands of the Taliban and included small arms and munitions, jet fighters, Black Hawk helicopters, and other military equipment. Many of the military goodies were damaged and there were spares around the repair them. Some of this stuff is now being used by the Taliban.
