Telangana IT Min. Sridhar Babu eyes Oz Univs to collaborate

MELBOURNE, 24 October, 2025: Congress ruled Telangana state  IT Minister Sridhar Babu, today opened up about his current tour of Australia, during a visit to the  Dr. Parikh Indian Museum, amid curious community members and AICCT boss Vasan Srinivasan among others.

Improved relations between India and Australia has led to a Indian VIPs bee line to Australia for educational, trade and other official opportunities. Minister Sridhar was preceded by the visits of India’s Defence Minister, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, and an Andhra Minister.

While visiting the Dr. Dinesh Parekh Museum, addressed those gathered and interacted with SAT and explained his visit including  being at different universities and Telangana’s strong skill base, moves towards new technologies including a proposed AI hub, answered questions about  Congress ruled Telangana & the central government, Australia, visit to the Victorian Parliament and about the Indian Diaspora.

The Minister was welcomed by Lata Srinivasan and later went round the lively Dr. Dinesh Parekh Museum at the AICCT and posed for photographs with community members.
