MELBOURNE, 30 July, 2026: Alyssa Healy has joined Fox Cricket as a permanent commentator ahead of Kayo Sports’ Summer of the Century.
The former Australia captain, who retired from international cricket in March, will feature alongside Adam Gilchrist, Isa Guha, Kerry O’Keeffe, Michael Hussey, Mel Jones and others in Fox Cricket’s star-studded commentary team.
Healy, the 2019 Belinda Clark Award winner and two-time ICC Women’s T20I Cricketer of the Year, brings a decorated playing career into broadcasting. She played 299 matches for Australia over 16 years, scoring more than 7,300 runs and taking 278 dismissals.
She has already impressed viewers as part of the Fox Cricket team and will next appear during the Top End Test series against Bangladesh in Darwin and Mackay from August 13.
Fox Sports managing director Steve Crawley said Healy would bring passion, insight and authenticity to the coverage. Fox Cricket’s Summer of the Century will span seven months and include men’s and women’s international series, plus the 150th Anniversary Test at the MCG in March.
