
MELBOURNE,31 March, 2025: The 2025-26 cricket season will see action in 11 cities in 14 venues. India’s men’s white ball series features first five match T20I series and women’s multiformat series against India includes the first day-night Test Match at the WACA Ground and three marquee T20Is. NRMA Insurance men’s Ashes Series includes Gabba D/N Test and Adelaide Christmas Test, was announced today at the Cricket Australia media conference today.
The hugely popular Indian teams again feature prominently on the schedule with Australia’s men taking on India in a blockbuster white ball series that includes the first five-match T20I series between the cricket heavyweights. The T20I series commences at Manuka Oval, Canberra and includes the Indian men’s team’s first match on the Gold Coast.
Kate Ingber, Cricket Australia General Manager Legal & Business Affairs, Cricket Australia CEO, Nick Cummins, and Australian cricketers Scott Boland and Ellyse Perry today spoke at the launch of Cricket Australia’s 2025-26 International schedule announcement at the Hamer Hall, Upper Terrace, with the iconic Melbourne skyline in the background. Nick said Melbourne/MCG is the place to be for cricket and the Australia-India match at the MCG on 31 October, 2025 will see what cricket is all about.
The Australian women will host a multiformat series against the rapidly emerging Indian team including the first Test Match at the redeveloped WACA Ground in Perth.
Fans in Australia can watch the NRMA Insurance Men’s Ashes and the Women’s Series against India on Foxtel, Kayo Sports, Seven and 7plus. Foxtel and Kayo Sports will also broadcast the Men’s ODI and T20I Series against South Africa and India. Fans can also tune into international cricket this season on ABC, Triple M and SEN.
