Cricket Australia bats for Indian & Pakistani Fan Zones at venues

MELBOURNE, 18 May 2024: Cricket Australia (CA) has under its Multicultural Action Plan, decided to setup dedicated Indian and Pakistani fan zones at venues for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, including at the iconic MCG and SCG and, for the Australia-Pakistan white-ball series in November. The Pakistan men’s cricket team will feature in three ODIs and three T20Is, commencing 4 November at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

The NRMA Insurance Men’s Test series between India and Australia will kick off on 22 November in Perth, followed by a thrilling Day-Night Test in Adelaide on 6 December. Both teams will then battle it out for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Gabba on 14 December, followed by the famous Boxing Day Test at the MCG, and then finishing up with the Pink Test at the 3 SCG January.

Further details on the India and Pakistan Fan Zones will be out soon and once tickets for the relevant matches are on sale, fans will be encouraged to secure their seats in the respective fan zones. Fans will be encouraged to wear blue attire at the Indian Fan Zone and bring traditional instruments like ‘Dhol’ to help create an electrifying atmosphere.

Details about ticket sales for the Pakistan and Indian fan zones will be released soon.
