‘G20 New Delhi Leaders’ Declaration’ adopted

NEW DELHI, 9 September 2023: The 20 countries G20 Summit  here today unanimously adopted the ‘G20 New Delhi Leaders Declaration’ amid obvious differences over the conflict in Ukraine. There was no reference to Russia on the Ukraine issue, which has come under criticism from Ukraine. The African Union was admitted to the G20 and India announced the setting up of the Global Biofuel alliance.

The two days summit will end on 10 September, 2023.

The 34 pages declaration concluded, “Recalling our collective actions to stem earlier global crises, we are determined to steer the world out of its current challenges and build a safer, stronger, more resilient, inclusive and healthier future for our people and the planet.”
