RT extends reach in India via Doordarshan Free Dish Service

NEW DELHI, 7 April, 2023: The Russian RT International  (Russia Television) English-channel can now be accessed in India  on the DD Free Dish satellite service operated by state-owned broadcaster Prasar Bharati. The channel was added to its content on April 1. This has been reported by rt.com.

In a detailed report, rt.com says, “RT International is now freely available via satellites operated by the Arab Satellite Communications Organization, which is based in Saudi Arabia, and Egypt’s Nilesat. The channel has also been added to India’s DD Free Dish service.

RT has been accused by the Western countries, backing Ukraine, in conflict with Russia, of being used as a an instrument of Russian propaganda. The rt.com report says ,” RT offers a viewpoint that it believes Western mainstream media outlets fail to present to their audiences.”
